Currensea’s Mastercard-issued debit card works once it is connected to the customers’ regular bank account; therefore, it is not required to open an additional account in Currensea for starting to operate. As claimed in previous posts, signing up for a card in the Currensea platform is a matter of minutes and should not need that much of a formality nor additional effort.
After customers are initially registered, they just need to hook up the Currensea service with the bank account of their choice and activate the debit card once they receive it (which happens between 3 to business days after signing up). Once the card is activated, whenever customers use their Currensea card, they will be consuming funds form their main bank accounts.
