What exactly is Torfx?
TorFX offers competitive exchange rates and a price match guarantee but is not ideal for small transfers; TorFX only offers interbank transfers but, on the other hand, TorFX has various ways to make a transfer, including:
- Spot contracts, for fast, instant transfers.
- Longer-term contracts. Secure the current exchange rate to send your money later.
- Limit orders. Select a target rate, and TorFX will make such transfer when that rate is available.
- Stop-loss orders. This is useful whenever a customer is aiming for a specific rate but selects a hedging rate if the market moves unexpectedly.
- Business transfers. TorFX can provide their business customers with risk management services and supervision of any recurring overseas payments
A transfer with TorFX, in some cases, can be completed by the same day, but at times these transfers can be completed in up to 48 business hours. Customers can only pay for these money transfers via bank transfer to a TorFx account; no additional payment methods are accepted, which is a burden to customers.
TorFX does not charge fees, so it makes money from exchange margins. Therefore, it is important to compare both the exchange rate and fees before selecting a money transfer company.
