Tide claims to be as simple as it can be; according to its promise, it all comes down to customers to sign up in the app and follow the steps as prompted in the platform – if this is the case, applying for Tide should take less than five minutes and, should no issues arise, customers would be receiving their account numbers in a matter of minutes. The MasterCard-issued debit card Tide provides, meanwhile, should be received buy the customers in no less than three business days.

Received and Issued payments can be issued immediately, but customers should note that direct debits might take some days to be set up. Please also note the Tide requires customers to be registered under the HMRC prior to applying for opening an account, for tax purposes.
